Introduction to Hawks of the Skagit Lecture – Saturday January 4, 10-12 noon, free. Learn to recognize the most common species in our area with raptor researcher, Sue Cottrell. A slide presentation will introduce you to raptor biology, field characteristics, and common behaviors. Pre-registration recommended through their website.

Hawks of the Skagit Field Trip – Saturday, January 4, 12 noon-2 pm, free. This field trip is a follow up to Sue Cottrell’s Introduction to Hawks of the Skagit. Registration is limited to 15 participants. Pre-registration required through their website.
